Rooms very old, but still pleasant. Very good location right on the water. Pretty average breakfast, but better than a lot in India. Nice rooftop restaurant- small menu though.

The location of this hotel could not have been better, a few doors down from the Taj Hotel and the Gateway to India. However, even for Mumbai, I found the standard of the room low for the cost. My twin was very small and the beds were too short for my 6 ft frame. Lots of channels on the cable TV but the cost of (unreliable) Internet was ridiculous. The rooftop restaurant was very nice with good tandoori and some deals. Breakfast was fine. I found some of the staff to be quite rude, behind their smiles. I'd definitely try somewhere else next time.

This hotel is awesome, the staff is awesome. They upgraded me for no charge. The rooms are very nice and clean. For breakfast which is included, they have an Indian and Western breakfast, lots of food and it is tasty. I was so impressed by this hotel, I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone, you will not be disappointed. The location was perfect, perfect, perfect. If want to stay in this area, choose this hotel you will not be disappointed. I have enjoyed to the max! I find it hard to believe that anyone would say anything negative about this hotel. Truly Awesome!!!

Our stay was good, comfortable and very conveniently located hotel. Wish the reception was friendlier. We were lucky to be upgraded to a sea view room as the requested room was not ready. Otherwise We recommend the hotel.

We were staying at hotel sea palace to get a taste of south Mumbai the touristy part of Mumbai. The hotel is well located about one block from the Taj Mahal palace and gateway of India. Also the street behind is a shoppers street.

This hotel is awesome, the staff is awesome. They upgraded me for no charge. The rooms are very nice and clean. Hotel is right in Colaba by the gate and ocean. I had a nice view of the harbor. The room was clean and a good size although I feel for the price, I could have found a better place. Service was ok but very slow. Service is slow everywhere in India so I don't blame the hotel. The rooftop bar is nice at night and the front patio is good for taking a rest during the day. Overall my stay was convenient, comfortable, and very average.

Right down the road from gateway of India, and 5 min walk to the street bazaar. Good restaurants and cafes (Leopold, star bucks etc) are nearby. Room was small but clean, it's good if you just want a cheap but clean accommodation in a good location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Some taxi drivers that wait outside this hotel give you tours around the city as well as short rides, and we met a really nice man named Ramesh who took us to all the must-see sights plus very interesting local places in Mumbai, which we are so happy we got to see, at very good rate. We'd recommend you do this if you want to do Mumbai sightseeing without much trouble, and save your time, with a good local tour guide cum driver.

Nice hotel, clean, friendly stuff, located next to the gateway of India, not far away from the Taj and directly at the waterfront. Generally expensive - but compared with others in Mumbai ok.

This is a nice beach side hotel with very nice rooms and atmosphere. The view from the deluxe rooms is beautiful, overlooking the beach, sailboats and the harbour. It's close to the Gateway of India and everything else in Colaba and is an ideal place to start and end walking tours of the area. The hotel top floor restaurant is nice, but expensive. I guess you pay for the views. The room was clean as a whistle, with nice furnishings and amenities. Definitely a place to consider for your stay in Mumbai.

Good and easy pickup service at the airport. Everything went smooth and nice. At the hotel everything was quickly and no problem at all. The room was clean and the beds good to sleep in. Coffee and the fridge in the room got it all. The staff was very helpful and nice. The restaurant had good food and nice staff and totally a very price worth hotel.

The rooms are nothing to write home about the service was awful. Half the food arriving once everything else had been eaten, the bill only took 90 mins to arrive.

We arrived early from the airport and were able to check in earlier with complimentary tea. Doorman and Ganish, the porter were helpful and friendly. Excellent location, very close to the Gateway, quiet neighbourhood nonetheless, and nice bar on the roof.
